Nothing special. I just wanted to share some of my thoughts. In this, I may ask a question. OK, probably several. This is just the first of what will probably be a running topic. Without further ado, A Penny For My Thoughts...
If it weren't for the existence of strip clubs, would any body, besides their mommas, have ever heard of the Ying Yang Twins?
I was at a car wash/gas station today, and I saw a fire extinguisher next to the gas pump. Why? I don't know about you, but if I see a fire break out near the gas pump, I for damn sure don't need a fire extinguisher. Its only going to weigh me down as I run away from that soon to be Arson scene.
I'm not a clubbing person. However, the few times that I have been there, I have gotten the distinct impression that many people are there trying to find someone to spend that night with. (Stating it very mildly of course). That being said, I have a message for the DJs of the world. While its nice to have a girl grind herself on you as "Back That Azz Up" plays, every now and then I wish that ya'll would switch it up, and allow a brotha to get a little closer with a slow song. (They didn't call it belly rubbing back in the day for nothing). Trust me, if you announce that its Ladies Choice, you won't mess up the vibe one bit. If you're a little uneasy with this proposition, watch House Party. Once Bilal threw on "Always and Forever", things seemed to get a little more poppin. (If you know what I mean. Wink Wink!).
And speaking of male/female interactions. Why don't we just admit that though we come from the same species, at the end of the day, we have no freakin clue about each other. Its nobody's fault, its just the way things are.
Seinfeld was the most creative show ever invented! How they seemed to pack so many life experiences into 9 seasons, I will never understand. To those of you who have never seen the show, give it a chance. When you watch it, just observe how they interact. Trust me, it won't take long before you see parts of yourself in one of the four characters. (Hell, maybe all of them). And to those of you who watch The Office, I keep giving it a shot. In my opinion, its just a broke ass version of Seinfeld, set in a office. I prefer the original. Just my preference. (I'm sure that Seinfeld will be discussed in greater detail in a future blog).
That's enough for this one. A penny for my thoughts, that means you owe me a nickel. Don't worry, I'll put it on your tab.
